Symbolism
A full moon with a profile face sheds droplets over a nighttime scene: a dog and a wolf howl at it, and a crayfish emerges from a pool. Two towers mark a winding path rising toward the mountains. The dog and wolf are the tame and the wild in us; the crayfish, the unconscious surfacing. The number 18 represents the plunge into the depths of the psyche.
Affirmation
“I cross uncertainty with trust in my intuition and openness to the truth.”
Upright meaning
- illusion
- intuition
- fear
- dreams
- uncertainty
- General
- The Moon lights things uncertainly: not everything is as it seems, and fears and fantasies can distort what you see. It is a time of vivid dreams, shifting emotions and sharp intuition, calling for caution with hasty conclusions. The path exists, but it is walked with care and trust. Cross the night without fleeing what it shows.
- Love
- Confusing emotions, insecurities and unspoken things can create noise in the relationship. Notice whether what you feel is intuition or projected fear. If single, beware of idealization and incomplete information about someone.
- Work & money
- A foggy scene: lack of clarity, incomplete information or unfounded worries. Postpone major decisions until you have more data. Trust intuition, but verify facts, especially in money matters.
- Advice
- Record your dreams and feelings, but wait for daylight to decide. Verify before believing the worst or the best.
Reversed meaning
- clarity
- revelation
- anxiety
- confusion
- suppressed fear
- General
- Reversed, the Moon shows the fog beginning to lift: truth surfaces and what was hidden is revealed. It can also indicate suppressed fears or anxiety disguised as rationality. Facing what hid in the unconscious brings relief. Confusion loses strength once named.
- Love
- Secrets or misunderstandings come to light, bringing clarity, even if uncomfortable. As a couple, honest conversation dissolves ghosts. If single, you see more clearly what is projection and what is real.
- Work & money
- Previously hidden information appears and helps you decide. Worries may be exaggerated, so test them against facts. Care for anxiety so you do not decide out of fear.
- Advice
- Name what frightens you and check what is fact. Care for your sleep and anxiety; if intense, seek professional support.
