Symbolism
Two men play a card game at a green-covered table, with coins on the cloth and a lamp in the middle. A third, standing, watches over a shoulder and makes a gesture with his hand. The scene speaks of bets, risk and the tension of those who rely on luck to win.
- Meaning
- The Gamblers speak of situations in which a lot is risked and little is controlled. It can be an actual game, but also an emotional or financial bet where the result depends more on luck than on your effort. Next to another card, they give that theme a tone of uncertainty and ask you to measure what you are willing to lose.
- Love
- There may be games, tests and a relationship in which nobody shows all their cards. Speak sincerely and avoid betting your feelings on someone who does not commit.
- Work & money
- Risky deals, speculation and promises of quick gains call for great caution. With money, set a limit before any bet and do not use what is essential.
- As a person
- Someone who likes risk and betting, or who treats life as a game and does not always weigh the consequences.
- Advice
- Decide beforehand how much you are willing to lose and do not go beyond it.
