Symbolism
A young woman sits in an armchair with a letter and a quill in her hands, eyes lowered and thoughtful, while sheets of paper lie scattered on the floor. Beside her, a vase of flowers draws butterflies that come and go. The butterflies and loose papers speak of attention that keeps moving, of plans begun and of a heart that has not yet chosen.
- Meaning
- Inconstancy shows a theme where the will wavers, whether yours or someone else's. What was agreed lacks firmness, and it is hard to count on something that can change from one week to the next. Next to another card, it makes that theme unstable and asks you not to build anything heavy on it for now.
- Love
- Someone may be torn between wanting and not wanting, and the answers change with the day. Ask yourself what you want and ask for clarity without pressuring.
- Work & money
- Plans and projects may change course, and scattered focus gets in the way of finishing what was started. With money, avoid impulse decisions and keep a reserve for the unexpected.
- As a person
- A charming but unsteady person who changes opinion easily and struggles to commit.
- Advice
- Pick one priority, write down what was agreed and confirm before acting.
