Symbolism
A young woman in a straw hat and red apron leans on a stone post at the roadside and looks back over her shoulder. Further along, a young man in a straw hat with a walking stick comes down the road. The card speaks of someone waiting for an arrival or an answer, eyes on the road.
- Meaning
- Waiting indicates a period of expectation in which something is on its way but has not yet arrived. It is not a stop or a failure: it is the time the situation needs to ripen. Next to another card, it shows the matter that is on hold and asks for patience.
- Love
- Someone is waiting for a meeting, an answer or a declaration, and the outcome has not yet appeared. Instead of pushing, stay calm and let the other person arrive in their own time.
- Work & money
- A reply, an answer or a decision is still to come. Financially, it points to money or an opportunity on its way, and it is worth using the time to prepare.
- As a person
- Someone who is waiting, or someone who is on the way and has not arrived yet.
- Advice
- Wait patiently and use the interval to get ready.
