# Why is personal arcana 22 The Fool, and are there master numbers?

> In the personal arcana calculation, 22 matches The Fool, which carries the number 0 in the deck. The limit of 22 exists because there are 22 Major Arcana. The site does not treat 11 or 22 as master numbers: they are ordinary results, tied to Justice and The Fool.

## The Fool between 0 and 22

In the deck, The Fool is usually numbered 0, at the start of the Major Arcana journey. Some authors place it at the end, as 22, which closes the circle.

The calculation uses the numbers 1 to 22 so that 0 is not left out and so that the reduction has a natural limit. When the sum gives 22, the card is The Fool.

## What happens with 11 and 22

In ordinary numerology, 11 and 22 are master numbers and are not reduced. In the tarot, the reduction only goes down to 22, so 11 and 22 appear naturally, with no special rule.

On this site, 11 is Justice and 22 is The Fool. Anyone with 22 also has a second card: the soul arcana, which is 4, The Emperor.

## How to read 22 in practice

The Fool symbolizes a fresh start, openness and trust in the unknown. The traditional reading points to spontaneity, and warns about recklessness.

This is symbolic and has no scientific basis. For decisions about health, money or legal matters, consult professionals.
