Symbolism
A young person holds the sword aloft on rough ground, wind tossing the hair and clouds streaming behind. The gaze is alert, yet the body looks ready to dart in any direction. It is the curiosity of an apprentice still learning how to use their own blade.
Affirmation
“I am curious and I choose my words with care and respect.”
Upright meaning
- curiosity
- quick mind
- vigilance
- learning
- candor
- General
- The Page stands at the start of the journey, and here it is the curious mind full of questions, hungry for information and debate. Earth of Air gives the intellect a practical shape: ideas eager to be tested. Candor is a strength, but lack of tact can wound unintentionally. Feed the curiosity, and let wisdom ripen.
- Love
- Stimulating conversation and idea-filled flirting spark interest. Take care that candor does not turn into sarcasm or criticism.
- Work & money
- A great time to study, research, and ask questions. Messages, news, and new ideas arrive quickly, so verify the facts.
- Advice
- Ask, research, and double-check before speaking. Use curiosity as your compass.
Reversed meaning
- gossip
- sharp words
- impulsiveness
- scatteredness
- mental restlessness
- General
- Curious energy scatters or turns into irony, gossip, and speaking without a filter. There is a rush to opine without knowing the facts, and the mind outruns action. It may also point to someone immature in communication. Breathing and choosing words more carefully already solves much of it.
- Love
- Teasing and veiled digs may hurt more than you realize. Prefer saying what you feel directly and kindly.
- Work & money
- Gossip or hasty communication disrupts the workplace. Focus on one task at a time and verify information before passing it on.
- Advice
- Think twice before speaking or sending. Pick one priority and finish it before opening another.
